Accreditation

Northeastern State University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, and the State Accrediting Agency. All programs offered by the university are approved by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and the Regional University System of Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma College of Optometry is accredited by the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education and is a member of the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry.
